STAFF ROLE IN GOVERNANCE
AR 2140
The President/Superintendent or his/her designee is responsible for the initiation of
appropriate opportunities for staff participation in the development of policies and
procedures that have or will have a significant effect on staff. Representatives designated to
serve on college task forces, committees, or other governance groups which relate to these
matters shall be selected from the category that they represent. Classified staff will be
selected through the recognized bargaining unit. For administrative, management and
confidential staff, selections will be made by or in consultation with these staff.
