Identify the enlister assigned to the subject you need. Enlisters are subject or department-based. CHECK THE ADVISORY OF THE COLLEGE OFFERING THE SUBJECT YOU NEED A TP FOR. Different colleges will have different systems. 3. Send an email for the request. In the email subject box, indicate subject and section of interest in your TP request (e.g. TP Request - SAS 1 - A) 4. Use this format in your email: Family Name, First Name_SAIS Number_Course_Subject requested & Section Class Number_Teacher_Reason: 5. The enlister will inform you of the action on your request thereafter. 6. Do not send multiple emails for a single request. One request, one email. Be patient in waiting for a response to your request. Our enlisters are attending to many students; as in the face-to-face setting, there is a cue of students being attended to. Thank you. J. Dela Cruz Reminders for Adding Subjects: To add subjects that are closed on SAIS, students need to be granted a Teacher’ Prerogative (TP). A TP is a request made where the teacher allows the admission of students into their classes above the number allowed by SAIS. This is granted on a case-to-case basis. Remember that each College has their own TP process, so the instructions here apply for College of Social Sciences subjects. Communication is between students and enlisters only. Please do not privately message the instructors and professors in charge of your subjects of interest. This allows us to streamline the process and declutter email inboxes so that all messages may be catered to. The enlisters will forward the Teacher’s Prerogative (TP) requests to the authorities in charge and update you on the request’s status. To add subjects Send an email to the designated enlister following the PRESCRIBED FORMAT. Your email will run the risk of being lost and therefore unattended to when format is not followed. Also, your request will not be accommodated by the enlisters if details provided are incomplete. Steps to Canceling Subjects: 1. Identify the enlister assigned to help you based on the requested subject. Check the registration advisory/list of enlisters of the College offering the course to be canceled. 2.
