ROSANA PUCDIHON TUGUINAY v ABSTRACT ROSANA P. TUGUINAY, May 2019. Licensure Examination Performance of Teacher Education Graduates and Professional Education Unit Earners. Benguet State University, La Trinidad, Benguet. Adviser: Carmelo W. Madinno, PhD The study examined the performance ratings of the Secondary Education takers of King’s College of the Philippines in the Board for Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) for seven years. The data from 2011 to 2017 were analyzed using descriptive research design involving documentary analysis. Findings revealed that more passers registered from 2012 to 2015 and first timers usually are more successful than repeaters. Further, the college accumulated performance ratings are below the 75% passing rate in all categories. Performance ratings were highest in the General education area and lowest in the field of specialization. In all examinations, the first-time takers had consistently outperformed the repeaters. In terms of field of specializations, the Biological Sciences graduates registered the highest passing rates. Proposed interventions were recommended to further improve the BLEPT preparation and ratings of the students.
