Check that stage is at Sample Exchange positio
(X ~ 50, Y ~ 0, Z ~ 40 (up)
Only use the pull-bar to move the door
Load sample
Finger-tight with the set screw only (if applicable)
Close door; pump down
Hold door closed until vacuum system is fully
engaged – wait for the gate noise
Take Nav Cam image
Optional
Move sample laterally to
starting sample
Do not raise the stage yet
Wait for good vacuum
Below 9.0 x 10-5 mbar
Run sample cleaning
Except if plasma cleaning will destroy the sample
Fill CryoCleaner
Optional
Raise the stage
Turn beam on; start
imaging
Check source centering and re-center crossover if
necessary
Verify sample height, link
Focus at 5000X to 8000X
