I am writing this letter in response to your job recruitment in Urban Unit as advertised on

Engineer and I am very interested to occupy this job.
I’m a recent graduate of BS Honors in Civil Engineering, University of Engineering &
Technology, Lahore. I have an excellent academic record having 3.63 CGPA with high grades in
core subjects. I have hands on experience as internee site engineer and assistant estimation engineer
at Provincial Highways Gujranwala. As being well acquainted with advanced software including
AutoCAD Infrastructure Suite and Building Information Modelling & Analysis tools, I have carried
out my term project on quantity surveying and earthwork profiling of Sialkot-Lahore Motorway
(Chak Ramdas Link). My internship at Flyover construction site included earthwork quantity
surveying, BOQ and PC-I document preparation including rough & detailed cost estimates, road
profiling and roadway culvert design. I am currently involved in preparing PC-I of link road scheme
approved in ADP 2019-20 in Kamoke area. I have considerable knowledge and practical work
experience of measurement book entry, IPC verification and rate analysis.
Throughout my academic life I was reputed for taking the initiative, welcoming
challenges, and scrutinizing alternatives to overcome obstacles. As an ambitious and capable
individual, I have gained experience in site quality control and have excellent analytical
problem solving capabilities that make me an excellent candidate for this job. I would
