The results revealed that the internship program helped PSCEMS students accomplish several learning means: such as communication skills development, professional socialization, an interdisciplinary work environment,a professional methodology, and enables them to practice their psychomotor skills. Themes: -Treating inappropriately: lack of communication from the nursing staffs which is shown either by negligence or nonresponsiveness. -Feeling lost: lack of regular follow‑ups from their respective colleges either through call or visit. -Shocking from reality: the interns were apprehensive to the limited scope of practice of nurses as established in the hospital policies and procedures. They expected that most of the nursing skills could be practiced independently in the clinical areas. -results of this study revealed that there were no statistically signi cant relationships between all studied interns’ demographic variables except (age, and marital status). -signi cant relationship was found between job satisfaction and area of work. -positive relationship between job satisfaction, organizational commitment and supportive work environment which will positively affect patient outcomes.
