[4] Envy You can't silence the thought that you are inferior, others are mocking you behind your back, and they're flaunting everything you deserve. [5] Gluttony You have an inhuman appetite and spend every spare moment gorging yourself and wallowing in luxuries. [6] Lust You are obsessed with indulging in the pleasures of the flesh and for your sick, lecherous mind, even lethal danger is an excitement. [7] Sloth You have lost all work ethic and struggle to do any more than the bare minimum, even simple training is an arduous task. [8] Cannibal You crave the flesh of your fellow man, as all other food tastes like ash and clay in your mouth. [9] Unsettling You cause a fundamental sense of wrongness and revulsion in all who see you, even your own friends and family. [10] Infested You attract countless ticks, fleas, lice, and worms which refuse to leave no matter what measures you take. [11] Blasphemous You have a compulsion to desecrate shrines on-sight and denounce the gods to everyone you see. [12] Cowardice You feel an extreme dread of death and are compelled to flee or parley at the slightest risk of a lethal outcome. [13] Vulnerable You are burned by silver and can't touch it without wincing, much like a lycanthrope. [14] Anathema You feel repulsed by the names of the gods, fear holy symbols, and can never willingly enter a holy place with peaceful intentions. [15] Grotesque You have a face and way of carrying yourself that could bring a hardened surgeon to vomit. [16] Branded [17] Nightmares You have a deeply unholy symbol scarified into your forehead, as if by a hot iron. You experience constant, vivid visions of the lower planes and have difficulty resting from sleep. [18] Marked You are an auspicious target for cults demonic or righteous, either to sacrifice or slay. [19] Stench You smell so horrible that monsters dwelling in their own filth are disgusted, let alone civilized people. [20] Unclean You can't stop sweating a thick, oily sheen that seeps into your clothes and clings onto filth. [21] Stained You have pitch-black blood running through your veins, and it shows at the slightest scratch or graze. [22] Numb You lose one of your primary senses as an outsider claims it, with no warning or recourse. [23] Paranoid You feel as if everyone is conspiring together to kill or rob you and take suitable precautions. [24] Unnatural [25] Abomination You give off a subtle, sinister aura that drives animals to extreme fear or hostility, though monsters are unchanged. You are detected as the most vile moral opposite of anyone sensing evil, no matter your true alignment. [26] Masochist You have a deep desire to feel pain and cut, whip, or torture yourself each day you go without. [27] Ruthless You are no longer capable of guilt, remorse, or regret for your actions on anything but an abstract, intellectual level and will compulsively take advantage of your closest allies if it will benefit you even slightly. [28] Eyeless You feel your eyes rot away to leave hollow sockets in their wake, though your vision is unchanged. [29] Morbid You can't resist the temptation to take gory trophies from the fallen and wear them on yourself, prizing impressive body parts over even glittering gold, and can only be parted from your corpsely jewelry under the direst circumstances. [30] Tongue You have a forked tongue, much like a serpent's, and must consciously restrain yourself from flicking it out to taste the air. [31] Defiler You have a twisted desire to destroy things of beauty and must save when the chance to do so arises, though you may have a bonus if it can be sold for a high sum. [32] Wings You grow a pair of massive bat wings from your shoulder-blades, granting you the ability to use jump and feather fall a number of times equal to your positive STR, DEX, and CON modifiers per day, as long as you aren't encumbered or wearing heavy armour, but their appearance alone is bound to cause hostilities. [33] Garish You have a skin colour that is visibly unnatural, such as crimson, neon orange, or blue, an extremely obvious and difficult to conceal sign of your blood. [34] Corrupted You are disgusted by good deeds and people to the point of nausea, and are fascinated by evil deeds and those who commit them, no matter your own alignment. [35] Ancient You lose all traces of youth, growing wrinkled and haggard with the weight of centuries, though your health, performance, and lifespan are unchanged. [36] Obsession You now possess a vice, such as dice, the mastery of a weapon, or underwater basket weaving, mild or not, it must occupy your every thought and push all else aside, you will do anything for its sake and bitterly hate those who don't acknowledge its profundity. [37] Scavenger You are only able to consume rotting food, fresh meals are unpalatable and will make you vomit. [38] Lunatic You find yourself in sync with the cycles of the moon, becoming increasingly restless as it nears fullness, and finally go into a frenzy of your worst passions as it waxes full, losing all control and memory of the night on the next day. [39] Spit You have a corrosive acid for saliva and are capable of spitting as far as a sword can strike, with a fair degree of accuracy, and feel a sudden instinct to spit into the eyes of your foes and the floors of places you disrespect, inflicting 1d4 damage on a hit. [40] Buzzing You speak with the wailing of locusts beneath your voice, an inhuman tone that shackles every syllable with the weight of malice. [41] Asymmetric You experience a subtle but profound restructure as both halves of your body are warped, each looking like they belong to a different person yet joined in the middle, neither resembling your previous self, the effect it has on most is jarring to say the least. [42] Howler You feel a nigh-irresistible (4-6) urge to release a hideous screech on taking a serious wound, slaying a dangerous foe, or finding treasure, at a volume that can be heard for hundreds of paces, although in close proximity against a living target, you can screech to inflict 1d4 damage. [43] Sunshunned You no longer cast a shadow and are incapable of getting a tan, but more severely, any sun-dependent crops you tend will fail to take root, though the sun will grace you once more should you contract vampirism. [44] Digitigrade You have your knees snapped backward and walk with a predatory, loping gait; aside from the appearance, it makes you 5" faster on open terrain at the cost of increasing the difficulty of keeping your balance by 2. [45] Vengeful You cannot take a weapon into your hand without shedding blood by its edge, reject a challenge no matter the circumstance, or ignore an insult of any degree, the limitless spite festering in your soul won't allow it. [46] Muzzle You have your skull malformed into a canine muzzle, a horrific deformity that has no intrinsic benefit, prevents helmets, and is extremely difficult to hide. [47] Warts You have all manner of painful and disgusting warts, pustules, and boils covering your skin, which can be removed by no means but surgery and will regrow in a matter of days. You feel a malign presence occupy your mind, as if watching you, it is evil and will taunt and torment your mind or if you share its proclivities, give you cruel, occasionally useful advice, on reaching 1 HP, you must save or lose control as the fiend seizes your body in a moment of weakness. You grow a pair of insectoid antennae which can sense faint vibrations in the air, allowing you to "see" invisible creatures, though they are somewhat uncomfortable to hide. You now possess a clear, exact headcount of how many people and monsters you've killed, and a faint but constant urge to see the number go up. [52] Fangs You have the sharpened teeth of a carnivore, far better suited to meat than vegetables, and improving the force of your bite but disturbing most. [53] Opposite You have an inverted soul essence, causing magic potions and non-damaging spells directly targeting you to have the opposite of their usual effect. [54] Tail You grow a thick prehensile tail at the base of your spine, able to coil around objects and flick itself, its end can be spaded, forked, or smooth at your discretion, though it has little strength to hold a weapon and is cumbersome to hide. [55] Passionate You feel emotions at an extreme intensity, the slightest frustration is a blistering fury, the mildest satisfaction is an ecstatic joy, and truly powerful feelings shatter the bounds of sanity, only a will of iron can remain rational despite such inner turmoil. [56] Blighted You are able to curse items and make unholy water, at a rate of one item and vial per day, when handling non-evil enchanted items or fresh water, you must save or pervert its powers and purity, though holy items and water may resist the effect. [57] Scaled You grow a layer of rigid, dark scales over your skin, giving you a freakish reptilian appearance and terrifying others, but improving your AC by one point. [58] Alluring You are beautiful enough to get an elf's acknowledgement but there is a sinister cast to your features, and if grotesque or otherwise mutated, the effect stacks and the structural change remains, even if it's contradictory. [59] Motherless You lose your navel, the memories of your childhood grows inscrutably vague and horrific, and any family you might've once had no longer recognize you as their own flesh and blood, though this also applies to familial curses. [60] Clawed You grow a set of razor-sharp talons where your fingernails and toenails used to be, increasing the damage of your unarmed strikes by one dice-size, d4 to d6, etc., but rendering gloves and boots unusable. [61] Epiphany You suddenly know a great, dark, and terrible secret, either eldritch and vile, such as the ritual of lichdom, or personal and unspeakable, such as a king's private affairs, powerful knowledge that can only be used for malevolent ends. [62] Sadist You have a deep desire to inflict pain and will be agitated each day you aren't able to torture or kill someone painfully. [63] Furred You grow a coarse, shaggy coat from your skin, greatly reducing the discomfort of cold weather but frequently shedding, indicating your corruption to bystanders, and requiring an hour of daily shaving to remove. [64] Virtuoso You develop a sudden, inexplicable talent for the playing of an instrument or a specific art-form such as painting or sculpture, as if you'd studied under a master for twenty years, and are overflowing with macabre inspiration. [65] Venomous You have extremely venomous blood, prompting any living creature to take a bite out of you to save-or-die, in theory you could poison someone but it loses potency after a few minutes of exposure to water or air. [66] Horned You grow a set of thick, pointed bones jutting from your skull, these can be antlers or any variety of horn, at your discretion, and can be used instead of an unarmed strike but prohibit most headgear and are very noticeable. [67] Faux-Midas You turn everything you touch into fool's gold, though it takes on a pliable fabric for your clothes, food remains edible, if tasteless, and the curse isn't strong enough to transmute magical items, it inflicts 1d6 damage per turn that can't be healed through mundane means and changes ten pounds of material or 100 coins per minute. [68] Gargantuan You grow to a massive height and weight overnight, half again as large as you were previously, and now require doubled rations and equipment will be far more expensive but much of the bulk lent itself to denser muscle-mass, your STR and CON are increased by 3, if either was already at 18, roll physical damage-die one higher, d6 to d8, etc. or add another hit-die, depending. [69] Virulent You carry hellish corruption, with absolute fertility and a guarantee that any offspring will be more demonic than you are. [70] Thickskin You feel your skin thicken into a rough leathery hide, improving your AC by one point with no clear unholiness. [71] Gelatinous You are boneless, able to contort in unnatural angles and fit through any hole wide enough for a closed fist but this does nothing for your coordination and your carrying weight is halved. [72] Quad-Armed You have four arms joined at the shoulder, allowing you to wear a shield and wield a two-handed weapon, dual wield two-handed weapons, or quad wield one-handed weapons, at the cost of accuracy and being able to show yourself without a heavy cloak. [73] Unliving You no longer need to eat, sleep, or breathe but you have no pulse, your skin is clammy, and you are affected by turn undead, being terrified, burned, or even destroyed if cast by a cleric of far higher level. [74] Spikes You are covered in hundreds of small, sharp, regenerating quills which won't harm you but will stab any touching you for 1d4 damage per turn of grappling or on an unarmed strike, even if their intentions aren't hostile. [75] Hybridization You are warped into an amalgamation of a nonhumanoid monster of your choice and man, inheriting its abilities and its weaknesses at halved potency, though most will attack you on sight. [76] Nightstalker You can now see in the dark without assistance of a torch, even piercing magical darkness cast at a level lower than your own. [77] Astral You feel your soul become unmoored as you can now exit your body and move invisibly and intangibly at-will, though there is a chance of possession each time. [78] Keen You have one of your primary senses enhanced to inhuman levels as an outsider subtly warps your body for a better view. [79] Inversus You have a strange internal organ position, an exact mirror of a normal person's, giving you a 4-6 chance to take a critical hit from an unaware foe, even a trained combatant, as a normal attack. [80] Abyssal You develop a set of gills and are able to move and breathe comfortably underwater, heedless of pollution. [81] Dominion You can summon forth an imp of the nearest evil alignment which will obey you indefinitely, but can only have one at once and require six days between summons. [82] Eidetic You have a retroactively perfect memory and lose any discomfort toward vile circumstances you might've once had. [83] Bizarre You can shoot a malign, sorcerous laser from your eye sockets or outstretched hand with a sound-effect of your choice, inflicting one d4 of damage per three levels at-will. [84] Malleable You have flesh that won't stay put, crawling on your bones, but if fed a pound of raw flesh over a vile minute it can heal wounds at a one point ratio. [85] Brawny You are wracked with knotted muscle and ripcord sinew, a bestial might you're tempted to turn toward destruction; if it was lower, your STR is set to 18. [86] Guileful You move with a serpent's fluid grace and your clever fingers seem to sabotage and steal with a mind of their own; if it was lower, your DEX is set to 18. [87] Jaded You realize that worldly torments are nothing compared to what awaits and welcome them with a wordless contempt; if it was lower, your CON is set to 18. [88] Cunning You have a brain with incredible sharpness and clarity turned to hideous schemes; if it was lower, your INT is set to 18. [89] Aware You know the total measure of yourself and the wickedness in your blood, whether you embrace it or not; if it was lower, your WIS is set to 18. [90] Temptor You have a smooth silver tongue and constant urge to twist others toward evil; if it was lower, your CHA is set to 18. [91] Darkstrider You can step between shadows to move at ten times the speed it would've taken to run the same distance but sunlight feels painful. [92] Acclimated You come into your malignant heritage and are immune to your choice of heat, cold, poison, or black magic. [93] Perspicacity You grow a third eye on your forehead or the palm of your hand which is capable of true sight, though it's blinded by the righteous. [94] Fiendish You are acknowledged by fiends that share your alignment as of their blood and they are far likelier to parley or even cooperate, if given incentive. [95] Ruinous You can pour your inner malice into your strikes, hitting with an additional point of damage per level or hit-die of the target once per fight. [96] Contaminated You become "immune" to disease, a latent carrier for every illness you've ever been exposed to, and can infect others at-will. [97] Polyglot You are able to understand every spoken language and be understood by anyone, though your words are unnatural and of clearly evil origin. [98] Fatebreaker You can briefly peer into two futures, rolling twice and choosing your preference once per day, though each time you pervert the natural course of events you heap inescapable doom down on your soul. [99] Occultist You awaken to diabolical lore beyond your means and can choose one spell, to use as a natural ability under a stat of your choice as though you were a cleric or magic user of your level. [100] Descension You outwardly manifest the corruption of your soul, allowing you to transform into a fiend of the same or lesser hit-die.
