How to access Learning Catalytics (LC) from xSITe Course Important Notes Before You Start • • • • • When creating a new account, USE YOUR SIT STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS to easily identify you in the system. First and last names must be in accordance with your Identification Card or Passport. DO NOT USE personal email address and name that is not in your official documents. Incorrect details MAY AFFECT YOUR GRADES not syncing properly between systems. Enter your SIT STUDENT ID correctly when prompted. 1. Go to https:// xsite.singaporetech.edu.sg and log on to your xSITe course page 2. On the course page, scroll to the bottom of the page and launch this widget 3. Click Open MyLab & Mastering 4. Accept the End User License Agreement 5. If you have used a Pearson product (e.g. Learning Catalytics, MyLab Math or Mastering Physics), use the same username and password to log in 5. If you have not used a Pearson product, click Create and complete the form. Click Create Account. For both cases, select Access Code. 7. Enter this access code and click Finish: AUSLC-FLUFF-EXINE-SKITE-PIZZA-SIRES 8. You will see this screen 10. Click module tile that looks like sample below 9. And this screen. Click Go to My Course 11. Enter your SIT student ID course id Module Title Course duration 12. Once you see this page, you are ready to participate in a LC session. 13. Once your instructor starts a new LC session, you will be prompted to Join Session in Progress. Click and respond to questions delivered by your instructor 14. You will be able to see modules and scores for the sessions you participated. Click Home to return to screen on item 11 above. Setting Up Your Computer 1. 2. Forgot your Login or Password? Click Here to request a reminder email. 2. Received an error message when trying to use your access code? Make sure you are on the correct course site. 3. Something isn’t working? Check Recommended Browser Settings If Chrome is not available in your country, please use Firefox.
