Impact of Social Media Platform on Creative Writing
Social media platforms have allowed like-minded people to cooperate. Instead of reading
literary piece where one creates its own imagination world, it has turned into reading
summaries or synopses provided by the different social media platforms. Setting this aside,
by searching a topic, you'll find a thousand or more like-minded people like you. Experts and
researches can provide their certain perspectives about these topics, which can change your
opinion and way of looking at a topic with their different angles/ point of view. These, of
course, would be very helpful in creative wring for argumentative and formal essays, as you

Due to the constant increase of social media users in all platforms, it provides a doorway
for writers to capture the attention of readers on the internet. This enables writers to follow
up-to-date topics to make their works timely for everyone, this also gives an opportunity to

Technology is improving day by day. Written language has an effect on our
communication. Some impacts like fake news, are making changes to the actual event. Some
famous slang words are now used as unique words that are greater than original as of now, it
has become an extraordinary way to communicate with others. Before technology or the
internet existed, people wrote to communicate with one another people. Social media is a part
of everybody’s daily lives and mostly among millennial. They have been interacting as a
basis. It changes how we people communicate with each other. Social of networking become
the center of people’s lives and its usage by students is becoming an accepted fact for most.
Typically fiction or by using imagination to construct a story trough strong written
visuals with an emotional impact, therefore five major subject represented such as serve as
references, provide easy access to use, serve as tool for development, expose one to
inaccurate sources of information, and must be used responsibly. Lastly, with regards to the
influences of social media exposure in creative writing, five major themes emerged including
deepen students' ideas, affecting writer's originality, poor choice of words, undermine
creativity and engage plagiarism.
Finally, social media has more positive effects that negative effects on creative writing
as it helps writers to boost their idea, gain more popularity, take constructive criticisms as
well as opinion from people that are socially inclined in creative writing. As social media has
begun expanding, writers of creative writing have also been more active and able to
communicate easily with readers as it helps to improve creative writing.
