Research Question: Why did it take a long to free slaves, why was slavery supported
Thesis Statement: The reason why slavery was supported is because that it made the owners an
enormous amount of money, but when it came to freeing them, it could only be done by war because
they did not agree to free them but there were other ways that did not require violence like they could
have started a business of Slave free so when they bought them they would let them go, Action Library.
