Megalingam, Rajesh Kannan. 2012. "Pedal Power Generation." ResearchGate 7. This paper presents methods on how pedaling a bicycle can generate electricity. The paper article mentioned that the act of pedaling, a power can be generated- from mechanical energy to electrical energy with the use of dynamo or alternator. Moreover, the paper explained how dynamo can be use in charging small powered lighting devices in which can be extended in powering mobile phones, tablets, laptops etc. Also, the paper mentioned how pedaling a bike is a good way of exercising and as well a good generator of power. The paper also pointed out how humans put so much waste of power from riding a bike without utilizing it to power electronic devices, since human can generate 150W just by riding a bike. It is revealed in the paper that a layman can charge a battery by just connecting the circuit to the output of Dynamo which is connected to the bicycle. In addition, the small devices that only requires low power can be charged while riding the bicycle or keeping the bicycle in stationary and pedaling.
