THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF LIVING IN THE COUNTRYSIDE The country side is referred to the village or rural part which is endowed with nature such as varieties of plants, trees, forest, animal species, farming lands, meadows, hills, rivers, waterfalls and cottages. Living in a countryside is often a dream to those living in the cities. The country side people are always active and healthy. The city people always like to visit the villages during their holidays because the environment helps them to relax. Living in the countryside has both advantages and disadvantages. Living in the countryside has a number of benefits as the air is clean. Most of the land in the countryside is used for farming or has been left in its natural condition making it beautiful. As an advantage we can consider the countryside is less polluted and the traffic is not so heavy. You are fit and need not worry about your health condition as the air and water are clean. There are many plant species and large trees in the countryside. You are free to admire the breathtaking landscapes such as huge meadows, peaceful hills or forests. You can enjoy walking in the forest and pick mushrooms or hunt. Another advantage is that you may easily build a big house and have a garden, because the price of land is much lower than that in the cities. Furthermore, Countryside does not provide all the facilities for a human to live nowadays. Employment facilities are very low for people to live and education is not properly adapted so living in countryside does not provide educated people countryside has not fully authorized because there is no proper water system, drainage system and it is not protected by deadly animals. Countryside is always good to visit only for holidays or for a month but not more than that. Though, there are a lot of positive aspects of living in the countryside, there are also some disadvantages. Life in the countryside is slower and the people do not earn much money. Moreover, there are very few interesting things to do during free time. The unemployment rate is also much higher than in the city. The problem may be due to the lack of communication. If you do not have your own car, you are unable to go to work as public transport is difficult. There is difficulty to reach the hospitals, schools, police stations and shops, which are usually located far from the village. There are some dangers connected with country life such as heavy snowfall or rainfall. In conclusion, I think that living in the countryside may have a lot of advantages such as fresh air, breath-taking landscapes and comfort, though many people decide to stay in the city, because life in the town is easier and comfortable.
