In Journal #2 I believe that the ns (natural stimulus) is Juanita driving to college or just driving in
general everyday. Next is the nr (natural reaction) Now I believe that the nr is feeling safe while
driving in general. Or just a pleasant response to driving.
Next, I will be identifying the ucs (unconditional stimulus) when Juanita was driving to college
but was involved in an accident near Humber college Blvd. & Hwy 27. The ucr (unconditional
reaction) is anxiety or fear as a result from the crash at the intersection.
The cs (conditional stimulus) occurs when Juanita drives near any intersection in the United
States. Next the cr (conditional reaction) the thought of being near an intersection creates an
unpleasant feeling for Juanita (ex. Anxiety/fear).
Finally, the sg (stimulus generalization) in this situation is, the thought of the accident which
occurred previously, caused anxiety and fear (ptsd) in Juanita since all intersection in a city are
similar to each other.
