You are excellent at managing a team on site and have extensive
bookkeeping experience. You are seeking a new challenge and do not mind
working in remote environments. You are able to stay in Ntui and would enjoy
and be skilled at managing operations on a fermentation plant.
What you will be doing
You will be managing a team of 10-12 people on site and ensure that
operations on the cacao fermentation plant run smoothly. You have
management experience and good people skills, which is why this is not a
problem for you and you will enjoy this role!
In addition, your responsibilities will be to manage the books and report
directly to our Cameroon company manager. The accounting responsibilities
include managing the money, payments, giving receipts, invoicing, preparing
weekly reports for the manager who is based in Douala. You will ensure that
internal processes are respected and adhered to and you are responsible for
all company assets on site.
Your new employer:
We are an exciting new start up in the cacao industry and aim to impact the
cacao industry in a postive way starting with the farmer. You will be based at
the new facility in Ntui and assist in getting this centre operational with your
positive energy and hard work. Thankfully, you do not mind working in rural
environments and can navigate in complicated conditions!
This is what you need
You have completed a degree in accounting or any business related field with
strong accounting knowledge. You are bi-lingual in English and French and
can showcase that you have management experience of teams exceeding 8
people and have strong communication and people skills. Due to the area of
our fermentation centre, you need to be comfortable with working in remote,
rural environments, be resilient and are able to live in difficult conditions for
some of the time.
You need a minimum of 5 years working experience. Proficiency in XERO is a
big bonus.

we can offer a competitive gross salary of 300 000 CFA per month with the
necessary tools of the trade. You also have the opportunity to work in a
