Name: Sandy Babiera Date: December 6, 2022 Grade and Section: 11 – Resilience Sir: Adrian On the 27th day of November, I woke up beam as light as I was excited to meet the children, I was task to take care of. Quickly doing the usual routines before going to school I now was ready to head on my journey towards being a good Christian. Having been arrived early, I was greeted by the guard with a smile and kind words. We chatted until a fellow student, Kyleen, was eager to go the classroom to carry the enormous and heavy equipment needed for the enjoyment of the children. Slowly, one-by-one, my schoolmates arrived making the room be filled with the ambiance of joy, chaos, and camaraderie. Sometime later, all of my schoolmates and classmates arrived making us complete. We then moved in different hordes upon carrying the diverse bags full of toys, snacks and foods, prizes, and other necessities the children need. We quickly then loaded the bus with our presence aside from the heavy bags. All of us, including Sir Adrian rode the bus to the destination, in which the place was filled with the ambience of joy, longing, prosperity, and respect. After we settled down with the children already present, we started the mass. What makes the mass even more genuine was that it talks about time – be it expressing one’s emotion to certain people, showing affection to family members, partaking in fun events with friends, and showing gratitude to parents. The games were well thought out, which was enough to gather the attention span of all the kids who were present. During their lunch breaks, the food then was distributed fairly so that each child can have the chance to fill their stomachs with delicious food. Soon after, we gave them ice cream in which they also loved and cherished. Seeing the children happy also makes me happy knowing each day is a brand-new battle for them. Fast forward, the games were very fun and enjoyable for everyone. There is one person responsible for the children’s engagement which is, Arvin, who displayed his speaking kills and his ability to convey emotions that are needed perfectly in situations that is not formal. In a way, I relate to the other children as I do not have both my parents now. My opinion is that I want to adopt a child, why do I feel sorry for them, so I also want to adopt a child even if their parents are physically hurt or placed in an orphanage actually my dream is I want to adopt a child when I'm 20 years old why do I want a child to support me because I don't take care of myself I'm just a thing on the road and I also want to help other parents why do I want to donate clothes or food and so on.
