1. Relate your four letter Myers-Briggs classification and state your reasons you agree(or disagree) with your outcome. My classification is ESTP-A which means I am more extraverted than introverted, which I agree with. I am more observant than intuitive which I also agree with. Thinking which I agree with heavily. And lastly, P which I agree I am more inclined to behave like a P, but I actually enjoy living like a ‘judging’ personality type a lot more since it’s less stressful. 2. Did it surprise you? No not really. I was surprised by the overall classification of Entrepreneur, but agree with each individual category. 3. Did you learn anything? I’ve always thought of myself more on the intellectual side, but after seeing myself get observant/sensing over intuition I thought about it and it’s true that I’m more practical/realistic than an intellectual mind. 4. Did it explain why you preferred something in the past? Yes, my behavior in groups is summarized pretty well by the -A which is assertive personality type. 5. Can you think of a time when you had to use a non-preferred behavioral preference? What was the outcome? All of the time I have to be more feeling than thinking because it’s common to interact with very feeling type people and you should be accommodating in that scenario. They are also better at making friends! 1. You are putting together a team for a project. What Myers-Briggs classifications would you want to make up an ideal team and why? I think there are a multitude of classifications that could make a good team. The only essential variety I’d say is the need for at least one Sensing and one Intuitive type and at least one extravert. Everything else can go either way in my opinion. 2. You are about to hire an administrative support person for a group of engineers. Name one classification type you would want and one you would never hire. Explain why. Want: ISTP because they will be practical and make logical decisions based on constraints which is what I need from them. Never: ENFJ because they think too much, do too little, and make decisions based off their feelings and not reasoning. (Disclaimer: This is all theoretical)
