Where in the Wild? Materials: Where in the Wild? by David M. Schwartz and Yael Schy with photos by Dwight Kuhn Whiteboard, document camera, or chart paper to model with students My Camouflaged Animal and venn diagram worksheets These activities are based off Bookworms Grade 2, Module 1 Lessons 33-34. However, it is not necessary to use Bookworms to make use of these activities. If possible, print the My Camouflaged Animal pages double-sided so that each child just needs one piece of paper. After completing Bookworms Lesson 33 and/or reading Where in the Wild? By David M. Schwartz and Yael Schy, model how to answer the questions and then combine them into one sentence. Allow some time for students to brainstorm their own camouflaged animal in a think-pair-share activity. Students may need additional support and modeling to combine their information into a sentence. The venn diagram is a simple worksheet that can be completed as a follow-up to lesson 34. Worksheets © 2022 Hand, Heart, and Brain with Ms Dana Name: Make your own animal Where does your animal hide?
