The claim The source If you don’t know, USE the other moves to get an idea if this source is reliable. Trace claims, quotes, and media back to the original source: What was the context? Was it taken out of context? Was the information accurately presented in the source you are considering? DO NOT read, use or share this information until you understand what it is. Take 60 seconds & ask yourself: What is the website’s significance? Is it trustworthy? Is the author trustworthy? Is it worth your time? Ask: Are the other sources that are similar? Is there a better source? More trusted? More in-depth? Are the sources from experts that agree on an opinion?
