RNSG 2221 Leadership and Management


RNSG 2331 Advanced Concepts of Adult Health


This course is an exploration of leadership and management principles applicable to
the role of the professional nurse as a provider of care, coordinator of care, and
member of the profession.
This course includes the application of advanced concepts and skills for the
development of the professional nurse's role in complex nursing situations with adult
patients and families with complex health needs that involve multiple body systems
alterations in intermediate and critical care settings.
RNSG 2163 Clinical Level IV

This course is a health-related work-based learning experience that enables the
student to apply specialized theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is
provided by the clinical professional.

Students will encounter information before class, freeing class time for activities that
involve higher order thinking.

Some of the benefits of a flipped classroom are:

Watch pre-recorded video lecture before face to face class

Take notes while watching pre-recorded video lecture

Submit notes on Black Board as proof of you watched the video

First, we will recap main points from pre-recorded lecture and answer any
questions you may have

Second, prepare for a pop-quiz

Third, application activity incorporating the clinical judgement model
