Nelson Mandela was an anti-apartheid leader. His government was mainly focused with

foundation for democracy style of leadership.
Nelson Mandela helped in fighting HIV/AIDS in South Africa and inspired the world at large. In
the year 2000 a quarter of the South African population aged between 15 and 45 years had been
diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Over the same period, close to 4 million people had been affected by the
disease and witnessed incalculable stigma from various people around them. Nelson Mandela put up bold
and stringent measure to fight against HIV/AIDS which was high in prevalence in South Africa by that
time. In the year 2000 he made a ground breaking speech during the international AIDS conference which

In conclusion, it is important to note that throughout his life, Nelson Mandela inspired many
through his many life struggles, words ad even deeds. This is because he was known as a leader who
walked the walk and talked the talk, boldly and without fear or intimidation. He was unlike other leaders
who manipulated their beliefs and ideologies for selfish gain and witness their people suffer more.
