Seblewongel Ayana 9/6/2020 Linda Gust Career planning process The general career planning process are self-assessment, exploration, and taking action. Their first similarity is that all of them are centered towards the individual. Additionally, they are all integrated within each other and have a deep connection with one another. Both exploration and taking action require the individual to do research and to network with others. I would say one of the differences they have is that self-assessment is more of a self-reflection (includes knowing personality, value, goals) whereas exploration and taking action are decisions one has to make to reach a certain goal. YouTube is a good source that has information on career planning. In general, social medias like Facebook, and LinkedIn are good sources as well.
