2. After you had seen the map, answer the questions. Use adverbs of time: first, after, then, etc.
Example: How I can go from the bus station to the baker’s?
First walk straight ahead on Queen’s Avenue to the north. After that, pass three buildings: the bookshop which is orange, a hotel that is blue
and the newsagents that is yellow. Then turn right on oxford street and walking. The bakery is next to the newsagents.
a) Which way is the best to go from the bus station to your house?
First walk straight ahead on Queen’s Avenue to the north. After that, cross Oxford street and you’ll see the football pitch. Then
turn right on King’s Way and walking. My house is in front of the Shopping centre.
b) Your friend wants to go to the bank because he needs some money. Explain him how he can go, from your house to the bank.
First walk to the south and in the corner of High St and Oxford street turn to the right. Then walk straight on Oxford Street, after
that pass Football pitch and cross the Queen’s Avenue. Keep walking straight on Oxford street, pass the cinema and the Post
office. The next building is the bank.
c) After he gets the money, wants to visit the museum. Explain him, which is the way from the bank to the museum.
First walk straight ahead on Oxford street to the east, pass three buildings: the Pub, the market and the Chemist’s. After that,
turn right on Queen’s Avenue, pass the library and school. Then turn left on Prince’s Road. The museum is next the church.
