SET OF STORIES – TEAM CITS3200_29 Epic (sprint 2): Build a usable UWA Fee Calculator as a minimum viable product with the focus on the design of the calculator Stories: # User story Story point 1 As a client, I would like the presentation of the fee calculator more user-friendly and attractive to student • Building a completely new design for the app • The design needs to follow the provided guideline As a student (both domestic and international), I want to be able 15 2 12 to fill in the categories (postgrad/undergrad/domestic/international/year) and return the total fee for my course • Student type: postgrad / undergrad • Fee type: full-fee / supported-fee (financial aid / scholarship) 3 • Course mode: online / f2p • Commencement year • Course: postgrad / undergrad As a client, I would like the calculator to be able to calculate the 8 postgraduate course as minimal • The undergrad course cost consists of many factors which is tricky to calculate • The calculator should consider all factors including scholarship and financial support 4 As a client, I would like the calculator to also consider the crossinstitutional study 3 5 As a student, I have many common questions and would like and 12 FAQ sections to answer those questions • Research on common ask questions • Prepare the answers for these questions • Build a FAQ sections which could be included or separately from the fee calculator 6 As a student, I would like to know if there is any scholarship for 8 financial aid program from the university to support my course fee. May included in: 7 • Fee calculator categories • FAQ sections • PDF files As a student, I would like the fee calculator to be easily access 8 from the university home page 8 • Link to fee calculator • Type in search bar to get a link As a student, I would like a convenient search bar to search for 8 my intended course 9 10 • Unit/course name • Unit code • Available year As a programmer and client, we would like a separate basic course planner to use in combine with the fee calculator • This sprint only requires a basic layout and design for the course planner • The complete course planner utility would be completed in final sprint. As a client and developer, I would like database to be set up for testing • Building basic database schema • Set up the app in back end • Extract raw data for testing 3 12 11 12 As a system administrator, for the fee calculator, I would like to add new course and unit to the database and change the cost for the available courses and units • The UI for the system administrator should have those options and present the data in the database • The normal user should not see this UI part in their section As a system administrator, I would like the database schema would be categorized by international/domestic/undergrad/postgrad students for convenient management 8 3 Additional Notes: Some advanced requirements that are required from the client are left to final sprints because it is not contributed to the goal of this sprint which is a minimum viable product of fee calculator, and it is time-consuming as well.
