As a client, I would like the presentation of the fee calculator
more user-friendly and attractive to student
• Building a completely new design for the app
• The design needs to follow the provided guideline
As a student (both domestic and international), I want to be able

to fill in the categories
(postgrad/undergrad/domestic/international/year) and return
the total fee for my course
•
Student type: postgrad / undergrad
•
Fee type: full-fee / supported-fee (financial aid /
scholarship)
3
•
Course mode: online / f2p
•
Commencement year
•
Course: postgrad / undergrad
As a client, I would like the calculator to be able to calculate the
8
postgraduate course as minimal
•
The undergrad course cost consists of many factors
which is tricky to calculate
•
The calculator should consider all factors including
scholarship and financial support
4
As a client, I would like the calculator to also consider the crossinstitutional study
3
5
As a student, I have many common questions and would like and
12
FAQ sections to answer those questions
•
Research on common ask questions
•
Prepare the answers for these questions
•
Build a FAQ sections which could be included or
separately from the fee calculator
6
As a student, I would like to know if there is any scholarship for
8
financial aid program from the university to support my course
fee. May included in:
7
•
Fee calculator categories
•
FAQ sections
•
PDF files
As a student, I would like the fee calculator to be easily access
8
from the university home page
8
•
Link to fee calculator
•
Type in search bar to get a link
As a student, I would like a convenient search bar to search for
8
my intended course
9
10
•
Unit/course name
•
Unit code
•
Available year
As a programmer and client, we would like a separate basic
course planner to use in combine with the fee calculator
• This sprint only requires a basic layout and design for the
course planner
• The complete course planner utility would be completed
in final sprint.
As a client and developer, I would like database to be set up for
testing
• Building basic database schema
• Set up the app in back end
• Extract raw data for testing

As a system administrator, for the fee calculator, I would like to
add new course and unit to the database and change the cost for
the available courses and units
• The UI for the system administrator should have those
options and present the data in the database
• The normal user should not see this UI part in their
section
As a system administrator, I would like the database schema
would be categorized by
international/domestic/undergrad/postgrad students for
convenient management

Additional Notes: Some advanced requirements that are required from the client are left to final
sprints because it is not contributed to the goal of this sprint which is a minimum viable product
of fee calculator, and it is time-consuming as well.
