San Juan, Kenneth Dale G. TECH 101 Personal Reflection I always wonder how people start a business. What is the process and what factors are needed to be considered in starting a business? Coming from a family with no experience in having a business tech 101 became a really interesting course for me because I really did learned things that I may be able to apply in real life. To be a successful entrepreneur, I learned that you need to identify a problem that a lot of people are experiencing so you can create a solution that has a potential to be the start of your business venture. I also learned that you should choose carefully when identifying your target market and be specific. In our PV, we identify our niche market as the students and frontliners who uses smartphones in Metro manila. We learned that we need to be more specific so we narrow it down to only the frontliners. In identifying our competitors, we noticed that we don’t have any direct competitors at least in the Philippines. That is why we identified all our indirect competitors and compare our product to what they are offering. In my life, I always believed that successful business owners became who they are today only because they are lucky, but I was wrong. I learned the importance of every step and process that we have discussed in Tech 101. Behind every successful business is hard work which is done by the team members. Every interview result, data and feedback from the people are essential in starting a business.
