The Department of Education (DepEd) recognizes the high value of awards and recognition and their profound elfect on learners'mora-le, motivation, aid self-effrcacy, particularly in these extraordinary and challenging times of public health emergency. In view of this, the Department extends the effectivity of DepEd Order No. O18, s. 2O21 to School Year 2O2l-2O22 but provides recognition of learners in Grades I to 5, Grades 7 to 9, and Grade I I for Academic Excellence Awards and Performance Awards for Kinde rgarten. 2.
