NURS 4650 Exam 1 Study Guide (Fall 2022)
Questions will come from Modules 1, 2, 3, & 4. There are approximately 50 items on the test.
Most are multiple choice, and five will be select all that apply. There may be one or two short
answer or short essay questions.
Review the weekly Module Learner Outcomes, the Module Study Guides, and the quizzes from
Modules 1, 2, 3, & 4, as exam items will relate to the weekly learner outcomes. Primary
textbook sources are Giddens & Yoder-Wise. Review narrated power points, class discussions &
power points, and your class notes, as the most important information is captured there.
Most application questions require you to synthesize information related to more than one
concept - and often from more than one module. Comparing and contrasting elements
(leadership versus management, quality improvement versus quality assurance, etc.) and
thinking about situations in which the elements occur is often helpful when preparing to take
an application-based exam.
