• PolyGen GmbH is an international renowned supplier of DNA
synthesizers for biomedical sciences.
• Since 1990 PolyGen is one of the leading developers and
manufacturers of DNA synthesizers for the production of
Oligonucleotides.
• PolyGen distributes its products and services in Germany through sales
and marketing directly, and via selected specialized dealers worldwide.

Mechanical parts production in Langen
The mechanical parts are manufactured in
Langen, Germany. The manufacturing and
assembling of the synthesizers are done in
the same building. Short ways helps us to
communicate fast and directly. This makes
working flexible and efficient.

The AKC team develops the software and manufactures the electronic
hardware for the synthesizers in Mühlheim which is close to Langen. They

Each individual column can be monitored by DMT; the entire synthesis
process is thus constantly under review. If the minimum required
absorption is not attained, a warning signal is given; alternatively
process can be stopped.

Pre-packed columns become unnecessary as the reaction vessels are
integrated in the slider block system. The CPG materials are directly
fed into the column slider.

• Modular design
The DNA SynTower® is the latest development of the PolyGen
instrument line. Its modular design is based on the DNA Synthesis
Workstation.
• Independent operation
Up to 32 modules with 12 columns each can be operated
independently. Thus, up to 384 Oligonucleotides can be synthesized in
parallel.

Ordering
All parts can be ordered via our partners or Polygen, directly. They
can be shipped via express service, to minimize the down time. A set
of the most important spare parts (for ~two years) will be delivered
with the instrument. Reordering after use keeps your spare parts
stock always up to date and minimizes down times.

Replacements/Upgrades
New parts are downwards compatible with older (starting blue
PolyGen logo) instruments. This allows you to upgrade your
instruments and to keep them up to date.
