Christianity and Science The argument between science and Christianity is the topic of the video. Science is evidencebased, whereas Christianity is based on the word of God. These two are completely different. The contrasting views of science and Christianity on life are discussed in this video. Aristotle's claim that the cosmos is eternal is what started this debate. The Bible talks in a language that we can understand because, according to St. Augustine, its message is adjusted to human limitations. At this point, the conflict between science and religion began. This video discusses how science has shown that Christianity is flawed. I learned that Copernicus' claim that Earth is one of the planets that orbit the sun was rejected by Christianity. They believe that the Earth is stationary. However, Galileo Galilei created the stethoscope, which helped Copernicus prove that the Earth revolves around the sun. Then physician William Harvey countered the Christians' claims regarding biology. He argued that the body is built similarly to a machine. It goes against Christian beliefs to say that the body's components were put there by divine design and that they serve no purpose. Harvey's research on the vascular system served as his basis. He demonstrates how blood flows in little loops, which is how the cardiovascular system was created. The lighting, which is the result of God's wrath, does have a scientific explanation, which is another product of science. Franklin concluded that lightning is caused by electricity. Franklin was featured in the video as one of the founders of the secular state that separates the nation from religion The age of knowledge and reason was launched by Benjamin. Christianity claims that dinosaurs and people both lived at the same time. God formed it on the sixth day of creation. They contend that since God created both the universe and our thoughts, they go hand in hand. The revelation of Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, which claims that humans originated from apes by natural selection, poses the strongest threat to Christianity. And there is a priest who has faith in God as well as science. He claims that religion is for humans’ relationship. This video's controversy and subject matter make sense, and both are intriguing. It is interesting to understand how the perspectives of science and Christianity differ. They make a valid point, and if you give it some careful thought, you'll see that there are indeed gaps in Christianity that science can both explain and prove. Nevertheless, I will continue to have faith and believe in science. Even if it may not be that precise, I still think that what is recorded in the Bible happened. As our minds continue to grow and our curiosity increases, we are gradually becoming more interested in these gaps in the Bible. At that point, science will be able to explain them. Therefore, even if they were distinct, in my opinion, both are essential in appreciating our way of life and guiding principles.
