This stands for Anti Diuretic Hormone
It makes your body increase water retention in your blood, and is secreted by the
pituitary gland in the brain.
The hormone travels in your blood to your kidneys, to keep the water levels in your
blood correct (Osmoregulation)
Insulin
Controls the amount of glucose in the blood
Allows the body to remove the glucose from the blood and store it
When you have diabetes, you dont have enough insulin, so the kidneys have to work
harder to remove the glucose in the blood
