Disaster Risk Reduction Management through
different programs and activities to make sure
that learners, staffs and other stakeholders are
safe within the school area and always ready
when disaster hits.

lives of people. These disasters are often
unexpected by their very nature giving us very
short time to prepare. That is why it is so
important to put time into planning and
preparation before the disaster strikes in order
to minimize the effects of such catastrophe.
Realizing this, the Dalanguiring
Integrated School never stops in strengthening its
Since the start of the pandemic, DIS
conducted new normal measures to promote
disaster risk reduction management to all
individuals within its reach. From combating the
spread of Covid-19 to preparing for the
occurrence of usual disaster like earthquake and
fire, DIS is putting its full effort to address risk
reduction management.

Description
SDRRM team convine to craft the school contingency plan on Covid19.
Dalanguiring Integrated School always make sure that even if there is
no Face to Face classes, rooms and school facilities are being cleaned
and sanitized. Teachers conduct disinfection before and after the
distribution and retrival of SLMs.
Parents and guardians get the SLMs of their children on the schedule
being provided by teacher-adviser to make sure that parents and
guardians will observe health protocols to prevent the spread of the
virus.
Covid – 19 information Tarpulins are posted on key areas of school.
These info tarps provide vital information about covid – 19 and health
protocols being done by the school.
Distancing markers are painted to encourage all individuals to observe
physical distancing,.
To widen the reach of DIS info drive about covid – 19 ,this info drives
are being done online, advisers are task to send online pamphlets and
videos regarding the virus and its prevention.
Vaccine campaign called “ Tara na’t Magpabakuna ” is being done to
encourage teachers of DIS to get vaccinated. This is being done by
providing teachers explainer videos about vaccination. Videos are
provided by RHU- Urbiztondo.

pamphlets and videos regarding the facts and preparations for the
occurrence of Earthquakes.

This DepEd mandated activity is being observed and actively
participated by DIS staffs,learners and other stakeholders. This drill is
vital for participants to be refreshed on the things they must do when
earthquake occur.

report provides the DEPED CO about the effects of a particular disaster
in the school.

Description
To widen the reach of DIS info drive about fire prevention and fire
fighting, info drives are being done online, advisers are task to send
online videos.
Personnel of BFP conduct fire safety inspection to determine what
needs to be done to prevent fire to happen in the school.

and Hazard Mapping
Before the pandemic happened, the school conducts “Student-Led
School Watching and Hazard Mapping” however , this is not possible
that students will determine risk and hazards present in the school since
face to face classes is still prohibited.
In this time of pandemic, teacher-adviser were tasked to determine the
risk and hazard present in their respective classrooms.
The school religiously observe the proper waste disposal. Waste are
being separated according to its kind and being properly disposed. This
activity is one of the basic contribution of our school in climate change
mitigation.
