Students will work in their small groups and accomplish the “PicGanern” Students will work in their small groups of 4. Students will be assigned a picture of overproduction/overconsumption, one for each group, then come up with its effects to the environment. A representative from each group will present to discuss their group output. (material 4) Recall 5 minutes Students will sum up the ideas they learned so far by means of “CONCEPT BUBBLE” (material 5) Relate 10 minutes Students will make “#PLACARDS FOR CHANGE”. On a short bond paper, they shall come up with a hashtag and explain it as they make a stand on how the consequences of one’s action affect the lives of others and the environment. (material 6) Reflect 10 minutes Students will work in their small groups and accomplish the “Traffic Lights, Camera, Action!” Activity (material 7) to explain and illustrate personal contributions that can actually solve the problem of climate change/help the environment.
