If you have ever been in momentum it can be addictive. That doesn’t mean you should move around different companies to find the ones in momentum, create it yourself! 5 STEPS TO CREATING MOMENTUM STEP 1 GET INTO PERSONAL MOMENTUM This is the one you need to focus on the most. People need to see you turning up every day creating your own piece of momentum before they want to be infected by it. What do I mean by ‘infected’? Momentum is contagious, people want to be around it. It is the best type of contagious disease going!!! In sports there is something known as a “Winning Streak”, when a team wins back to back games, a few games in a row. This creates momentum, you need to create your own winning streak. Do the daily method of operation each and every single day, make a note of the days you have done it in a row, share your personal winning streak in your group chat/group. STEP 2 CREATE GROUP MOMENTUM Within your team you will have a number of groups, it might be 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 or more. These are simply the groups you create from the people you have personally recruited. For example, you recruit Bob, he is group 1. Then you recruit Mary, she is group 2, and so on. You need to make up in leverage what you lack in ability. In order to do this you find the wins inside of any group and you hammer that story to the other groups, people catch fire when they see people at the lower levels being made of a great example and they will push for that same feeling. You can use the winning streak concept too and see which group will create the biggest winning streak. Just don’t make it a bitter competition, it must all be friendly. Momentum HOW TO CREATE F R A Z E R B R O O K E S STEP 3 GET YOUR TEAM INTO MOMENTUM When you have 2 or more of your groups in momentum then you start doing team meetings and events. These can go like crazy in terms of growth when you start to catch momentum. When you have 2 or 3 groups at a team event working together, and you set the date for the next event, be sure to let them buy their tickets for the next team event. At that next event your goal as a leader is to get more people in the room than last time. Start the venue small so part of the story is that you outgrow it. People will remember those first meetings you did. Remember, all of this has started with you getting into momentum first by getting into your own winning streak. STEP 4 WITNESS YOUR COMPANY GAIN MOMENTUM When it’s time for the company event, make it your number one goal and focus within the team to get everyone to that event. Be sure to do your own team thing before, during and/or after to build on the team culture you are now creating. When your company then recognizes you for the growth you are having, be sure to recognize it as a team award, dedicate it to them, and share that your team will be receiving their own awards next year. Again, if you can buy tickets for the next event be sure to do so. STEP 5 SEE THE INDUSTRY HIT MOMENTUM The reason why I do what I do is to get the industry back into momentum. This is what it will take in order for Network Marketing to be a sexy option to earn an income. In order for the industry to hit momentum there have to be a number of companies hitting big momentum at the same time, but that all starts with you getting into momentum. Create the things you need to do in order to track a winning streak, and share that with your team. But remember, winning streaks don’t last forever, be sure to set the expectations so that the team knows to take maximum advantage of this phase in the business and to be smart with the commissions they earn.
