Electronic Health Records Overview
My PowerPoint presentation was a topic overview on Electronic Health Records. I decided to go over the
purpose of an EHR and patient data that is included in one. The 8 core functions of an EHR was also
discussed in detail. I then went over who Electronic Health Records are shared with and who they are
not shared with as well as some of the barriers that lie in health information exchanges.
