Case Study – Tristan Walker: The Extroverted Introvert by Jeffrey Pfeffer is the recommended case study for this
activity.
As part of this case study, you will explore how Tristan Walker, a 32-year-old entrepreneur, founded his own
company, Walker & Company Brands. Walker was also the chair and co-founder of Code 2040, a nonprofit that
helped under-represented minorities chart successful pathways in the technology sector. It is said that Walker’s
extensive contacts and immense following on Twitter, along with his wide range of experience helped prepare him
for the launch of Walker & Company in 2013.
With nothing but personal relationships and experience to bank upon, Walker’s entrepreneurial journey is amazing.
However, your facilitator might take you through a different case study relevant to your country.
