Prevention: 2-3 Dips in 1-2% concentrated Cutting
oil DM water based solution to prevent moisture
and defects formed due to moisture.
Detection: Curing to follow strictly at least 48
Hours and Curing area shifted to closed area
protected from external environment condition.
PROBLEM REPORTED
Problem Occurs:
• SST Failure at customer end .
• White rust Occurs within 24 hours.
• Cutting oil dipping has been considered as one of
Probable cause.
Containment Action Taken:
• Cutting oil dips immediately stopped.
• Further Root cause validation under process.
• Top Coat process added after Plating
