After using the COUNTIF function in excel, I was able to sort the number of fatalities to their cause.

Looking at the pie chart created, most fatalities were because of Staph Infection, Cholera,
Typhus. They are all infectious diseases caused by bacteria; therefore, in order for the military
to decrease or stop the genocide occuring in the neighboring country, they should use the
government’s emergency funds to do the following:
1. Ensure the sanitary conditions of food and water as Cholera is usually spread through
water and ingestion is the easiest way for bacteria to enter the body.
2. Send antibiotics to the soldiers as these diseases could be treated by antibiotics.
3. Deploy more clinics with better medical equipment as the other causes that made up the
minority of deaths can mostly be prevented by proper health care.
