USA, at nearly 50% and continued to overtake the USA for the next 7 years. In 2005, the
percentage of people using Internet in Canada was around 2% higher than that of the
USA (75%) and around 2 times higher than Mexico’s usage at 40%. In 2009, almost
100% citizens in Canada used Internet compared to the percentage of Internet usage in
USA and Mexico was at 80% and 40% respectively.
