Opportunity given to try again. 2nd Time: Verbal correction, tally mark put into record. 3rd Time: Time out given. Student must sit out of activity for an appropriate length of time (1 minute per year of age). Tally mark added to record. 4th+ Time: Time out given and tally mark added. Student must conference with teacher, discuss behavior, and form an action plan. Note sent home. Severe Disruption: Sent to office/counselor. Tally marks reset each week. Students begin every week with a clean slate!
