We first met through my friend Bonghwa in 2013. She suggested that we go on a date to get more
acquainted with each other. Our first date was in August 2013 at an Italian restaurant in Hayang. After
our first date, we decided to continue getting to know each other on weekends. Since we both were
working full-time, our weekends were planned.
We continue meeting each other on weekends, I eventually introduce Mr. Bendik to my family In Ulsan.
Mr. B took it on himself to reserve his weekends to visit me in Ulsan. We participated in visiting
designated Korean areas and Korean events throughout Ulsan and other cities. He suggested we plan to
visit his family in USA during 2015. We continued dating in Korea up until throughout pandemic, when
we decided to get married after dating 8 years. Our friends and families were surprised to hear we had
gotten married and extended their approval and congratulations.
