PITCH ASSIGNMENT Your group will assume the role of an advertising agency who has been invited to pitch on a new piece of business. You may select the 'business' you would like to pitch however you are required to have the brand/product/service approved by your lecturer by Week 7. It is recommended that you conduct an analysis on the existing IMC and formulate the problem statement (as you see it and not just what the client would have you believe). You are then to develop a new IMC strategy for this product/service and present the integrated marketing communications strategy including the creative strategy and media strategy you deem to be appropriate to achieve the client's objectives. You should understand the marketing environment you will be entering into and have an indepth understanding of those people whose behaviour you will be attempting to influence positively towards your client's product. You are required to submit a Pitch document detailing your IMC strategy in no more than 6000 words and provide a maximum 20 minute presentation of your IMC solution to your class colleagues. Performance will be judged on several factors including level of creativity, professionalism, overall clarity, relevance and depth of content, ability to involve the audience and hold attention while selling your solution and, of course, the validity of your overall campaign strategy.
