Bib-nosed Pattern Pressure Reducing Landing Valve Model No. Specifications ABC 604R Screwed Inlet High Pressure Reducing Valve Operation and Maintenance Instructions Bib Nosed Pressure Reducing Valve (DN65) Max Inlet Pressure: 290PSI Max Flow Rate: 950 LPM Outlet Pressure: 50 PSI-115 PSI Inlet: 2.5” Screwed (NH/BSP/NPT) Outlet: 2.5” Instantaneous Female BS336 Installation 1. Confirm the function of the valve 2. Make sure there is no impurity in the pipeline 3. The valve normally has to be installed horizontally with the handwheel on the top 4. During fitting, the proper flow direction has to be considered. 5. The tightness of the connections has to be checked carefully Adjustment 1. The outlet pressure has been adjusted in our factory (950lpm at 100psi) 2. The outlet pressure can be adjusted between 50-115psi. To achieve this, the hexagonal nut at the bottom of the valve has to be unscrewed. Turning the hexagon screw clockwise to increase the higher outlet pressure. Turning the hexagon screw anti-clockwise to lower the outlet pressure. After the adjusting, the nut protector has to be screwed back on the valve. Operation Standard Operation The bib nosed pressure reducing valve can be open / close by turning the handwheel Maintenance The maintenance and testing should be in accordance with NFPA 25 1. The valve should be inspected for damage or corrosion annually 2. The valve is not designed to accept replacement parts 3. The valve should be operated by hand, never using a torque bar or other device to exert pressure. Excess torque may damage the seat, stem, disc, or other working parts. 4. If the valve fail to perform as intended, the valve should be replaced.
