Teaching science specific vocabulary I imagine unfamiliar words like seeds inside maracas, they make sounds whilst spinning around. But once we know the meaning of the words, the seeds stop in our brain and put down roots, so they will always be there for us. Teaching scientific words can be difficult; in all my class I try to transfer my passion for the etymology which is the “study of the meaning of the words”.
