










Perform FLIGHT DECK POWER UP FLOW
Perform ORIGINATING CHECKS FLOW
T-24 The Gate Agent will enter the cockpit and asks if she can start boarding.
T-22 Load FMS.
T-20 The FO will return to the cockpit from the walkaround and start his
Originating Flow.
T-15 Run the departure briefing.
T-7 The Gate Agent will deliver the Loadsheet.
Enter takeoff V-speeds and set MDA bug to acceleration altitude!
T-4 The FA will make her Cabin PA.
T-3 Call the "24 HOUR SYSTEM CHECK CHECKLIST".
T-2 Call the "BEFORE START CHECKLIST", perform BEFORE START FLOW.
The FA will tell you the cabin is ready to go.
T+1 Perform ENGINE START FLOW.
Engine Start


Call for “ENGINE START CHECKLIST”
Perform engine start procedure, either by captain of FO
After Start

Call for "AFTER START CHECKLIST”, perform AFTER START FLOW
The checklist is the trigger for the FO to perform his after start flow.
Taxi

When starting to taxi, say “CLEAR ON THE LEFT”
Before Takeoff – Approaching holding position

Call for "BEFORE TAKEOFF CHECKLIST TO THE LINE",
perform BEFORE TAKEOFF TO THE LINE FLOW
This is the trigger for the FO to perform his flow.
Before Takeoff – Cleared on runway
 Call for "BELOW THE LINE".
The FO will then perform the below the line items and complete the checklist.
Takeoff



Set takeoff power and say: "CHECK POWER".
When the FO calls POSITIVE RATE, say: "GEAR UP"
At 400 feet AGL, say "SELECT HEADING SELECT" or "SELECT NAV".
Climb - Passing acceleration altitude (announced by FO)

Call "FLAPS 0, I A S TWO TEN, CLIMB CHECKLIST TO THE LINE".
This triggers the FO to perform the climb flow.
Climb - Passing transition altitude.

Call: "1 0 1 3 SET CROSS CHECK"
Climb – Passing FL100/10.000ft

Call: "PROPS EIGHT FIFTY BELOW THE LINE"
This triggers the FO to perform the remaining climb flow
Cruise Altitude – Reaching

Call "SET CRUISE POWER".
TOD – 15nm before

Run the Approach briefing
Descent – Shortly after passing TOD

Call: "DESCENT CHECKLIST TO THE LINE".
This will trigger the FO to perform the descent flow and checklist.
Descent – Passing FL100/10.000ft


Set landing reference speeds bugs and REF SPEEDS switch (as required)
Call "BELOW THE LINE”.
The FO will then run the checklist below the line, and complete each item.
Descent – Passing transition level

Call: "X X X X SET CROSS CHECK"
Initial Approach – Reaching FAF / Glideslope alive

Call "GEAR DOWN".
This will trigger the FO to perform the Before Landing Flow.
Approach – Intercepting Glideslope

Call “FLAPS 15 BEFORE LANDING CHECKLIST”
After Landing

Call "AFTER LANDING CHECKLIST", perform AFTER LANDING FLOW
The FO will then perform this checklist as a silent read-and-do.
Parking



Set parking brake shut down engine, perform PARKING FLOW.
This triggers the FO to perform his parking flow
After flows are complete, call PARKING CHECKLIST TO THE LINE
Once the APU or external power is supplying power, call: "BELOW THE LINE", and
perform the checklist-items called by the FO.
To bypass a checklist item (when stuck)

Say "SET AND CHECKED".
