Pre-lesson: Pupils’ sentences from the previous lesson are
returned. They review their mistakes.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils refer to textbook page 29 and asked about
what the kids are doing in the picture.
2. Audio track 45 is played. Pupils listen and match the
characters to the names above the picture.
3. Pupils are guided to correct the mistakes from the
previous lesson.
Post-lesson: Pupils conduct the Freeze Dance. One pupil
is randomly selected each round to be in front. The rest
of the class dances freely while music is played. They’ll
pose with one action representing a sport or a daily
routine. The chosen pupil guesses at least 3 actions.
And, the round starts again.

1. Pupils are guided through the structure ‘Yes, ____ is,
no, ____ isn’t and the question structures.
2. Pupils are demonstrated with the guessing game. A
pupil come to the front and picks out a card without
revealing it to anyone. Teacher asks questions as in the
textbook and pupils answer accordingly. Then, teacher
picks a card and the pupil asks questions
3. Pupils in pairs get a set of cards. They start playing the
game. Pupils are given sample questions to guide (L)
Post-lesson: Pupils are called at random to make a
sentence using the sport in the cards

Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are introduced to the Winter Olympic Reading
Cards.
2. Pupils read the cards in groups and ask if they don’t
know any words.
3. The reading cards are pasted around the class.
4. Pupils are given a dictation task sheet to work in pairs
5. Pupils A runs to the word first and pupil B writes and
completes the first box. Upon completion of the first box,
pupils A and B switch roles.
Post-lesson: Pupils check their answers.
