The Internet has become a central point for
information-sharing in today’s world
We need information for Education purposes,
Business, communication, Entertainment e.tc.
Thus internet has bridged the gap so that we are able
to access information easily and efficiently.

Search Engines
That specific activity of looking for something is called search.
Search engine is a program that searches for and identifies items in a database
that correspond to keywords or characters specified by the user, used
especially for finding particular sites on the World Wide Web.
A search engine is a long series and combination of codes which when
activated, goes out and does three main things: Index, retrieve and rank
You don’t necessarily have to submit your website to the search engines,
they’ll automatically come looking for you as they crawl the web

Additionally, Google captures almost 85 % of mobile traffic.
But that popularity makes it the most challenging search engine
You might be missing critical opportunities for traffic if you
neglect the other search engines

Other engines include Yahoo, Bing, Wikipedia, Yandex
etc.
Useful Searching
When trying to search something, use the key words
exact name or titles to express your points.
Avoid searching using sentences or paragraphs on the
search bar
Otherwise your expectations (results) will not be met.

theses, books, preprints, abstracts, and court opinions from
academic publishers, professional societies, online
repositories, universities, and other Websites.

When trying to access/download documents, indicate
the name or tittle of what you want to download
followed by extensions (PDF, ppt, xlsx, doc etc.)
including the extension helps to access the document
