ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN ICT
I.
INTRODUCTION
Information Technology (IT) is concerned with the development,
management and use of computer-based information systems. Our top priority
and most important accomplishment are the continued success in providing high
quality, reliable service and support to our students. I.T now a days is very
important not only to pupils but to teachers also.
II.
OBJECTIVES
Enhance the computer skills of pupils and teachers in basic computer
skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Apply the knowledge learned on
Information Technology in daily life. Knowledge in using the DepEd Commons
where you can download and use the different learnings materials available.
These materials are quality assured and ready to use for the pupils and the
teachers as well.
III.
HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT
The use of ICT in really on its peak in this generation. Downloading and
uploading of learning materials are very much essential in delivering and
achieving its goal in the teaching-learning process. So, the main purpose of the
said session is to educate the teachers in using the DepEd commons which is
the other means of downloading the essential materials needed in the lesson
proper. The materials here are quality assured and ready to use for the teachers
and learners as well. We can download different learning materials in all subject
areas.
IV.
PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS
With the fast pace of modern technology, teachers must be equipped and
oriented with the knowledge and skills to cope up with the needs of the school
and students. To make this this possible the teachers of Bangcud Central
Conducted an orientation on using Deped Commons which is an area of the
LRMDS which cater the needs of the Teachers in downloading essential materials
in the teaching-learning process with ease and convenience.
V.
PROBLEMS MET
Sometimes the facilities in E-room like the monitor do not function. The
internet connection did suffice the needs of all the 45 teachers in terms of
downloading of the desire materials. Difficulty in searching the desired materials
since some of the teachers are new to the system.
VI.
FUTURE PLANS
Conduct more trainings on the proper using of the DepEd commons. If the
teachers are more exposed to the system the easier the access on the things to
used. As the saying goes “Practice makes perfect.” And of course, we also
considering the fastest internet connectivity so it can cater all the teachers and
pupils as well since internet is the main materials needed in downloading.
