please invite your friends now to watch and join our 14th grand alumni
homecoming for we are about to start the program a moment from now. I would
like to seek your cooperation in completing this special event. Thank you!
CRES: Requesting everyone to please settle down, the program will begin in 5
minutes. Kindly call or text your friends and batchmates now to join and party with
us tonight.
START.
CRES: To formally begin the program, let us all rise, bow our head and feel the
presence of our almighty father for the prayer, and remain so, for the singing of
the national anthem which will be played through audio-visual presentation.
JHUN: Good evening, Philippines!
CRES: Good evening Baleguian!
BOTH: Good evening BALEGUIANONS!
JHUN: This is Rodrigo b. madrazo
CRES: and I am mary cris gagap
BOTH: and we are your hosts for tonight’s event.
JHUN: So hi baleguianons! By the way it’s wonderful to see all of you gathered
here tonight. How have you been these days? I know everyone is having a hard
time in adjusting especially now that we are still experiencing the effects of
pandemic. However, I like you to take a break from your stress and worries for this
is a special night for all of you.
CRES: Exactly, Jhun! We know how hard everything has been lately, and we are
all doing things remotely and virtually. Pero, if gusto madaming paraan biya!
Hence, that is why we are proud to say that with all the hard work put into this
event, I assure you it will be a memorable one. An advance thank you for all the
people behind this successful event esp the BALESAA AND baleguian elementary
school for realizing this amazing event.
JHUN: That’s right Cres. Indeed, we have to make the best of things. Diba ana si
Catriona Gray, “We should see every situation with a silver linning,” and I can say
with great honor that this is our silver linning.
it is my pleasure to welcome you all to our 14th grand alumni homecoming. We
appreciate you taking time off your busy schedules just to join us tonight. as we
embody UNITY, RESILENCY AND HOPE despite the pandemic that we are in.
We learn to appreciate each other more when we are apart.
Despite the global pandemic that has kept individuals from seeing their loved
ones, many relationships have flourished because of this very belief.
BALESAA AND BALEGUIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL likewise believe in this. As a
result, the 14TH GRAND Alumni Homecoming was made possible and its taking
place to happen, tonight.
CRES: that is true partner. We really appreciate your presence tonight mga
baleguinanons. For the last 3 years we’ve been locked inside the four-corner sides
of our homes, we are restricted to conduct mass gatherings for the fear that the
infectious disease might infect us. But look at us now, seating and celebrating
things again in synchronous yet faced to faced way. So this is something that we
should be grateful for, we were able to surpass the challenge brought by the
pandemic and everything is slowly coming back to normal.
JHUN: Alright so this time, before we formally start our program, let us
acknowledge first our dear alumnus and alumna. As we call your batch year, let
us hear your yell.
YELLING PER BATCH
CRES: Ayan Jhun! Wasn’t that nostalgic?
JHUN: Dah uy! Ka big word bah uy! Unsay nostalgic para mo tuo ko? Charot!
Anyway cres, its fascinating to hear again those yell and how they proudly shout
out their batch years, that only shows how we missed this kind of gathering and
how far we have come. This years theme “TAPOKITA: STRENGTHENING
RELATIONSHIPS BEYOND BOARDERS AMIDST THE PANDEMIC” provides an
unequaled opportunity to see old friends, meet new ones, learn about the
different changes happening in BALES and remininsce the era that made us into
successful human beings we are now.
CRES: That’s right jhun. Our years in bales were memorable years. We had a great
time to grow up. We didn't have much money, but we learnt to appreciate what
we did have. We didn't have computers, video games, or cellphones, but we did
have the freedom to explore nature and have fun while doing it, as well as to
communicate with our peers and teachers in a meaningful way. Even though
some of us were struggling financially, we didn't feel hopeless because we
understood what we wanted to do with our lives. This was the driving force behind
our journey, and it's what ultimately brought us back to honor our beloved alma
mater.
JHUN: Indeed CRES. this time to formally start this program, may I call in the
presence of Engr. Jamaica s. empuesto for her welcoming message.
**AFTER MESSAGE**
JHUN: ALRIGHT! Thank you engineer for officially welcoming us. It was such a warm
welcome indeed.

presence of our very own MRS. JASMINE T. MACATIGUE bacth 2008 president.
Jhun: Alright thank you maam jasmine for officially introducing us our speaker for
tonight. So without further ado, let us clap our hands and welcome mr. Rodyard
Camarin An alumnus and a team leader at concentrix.

insightful remarks.
Jhun: this time is the awarding of certificates and giving of token to our resource
person. Requesting Engr. Jamaica empuesto Balesaa president and Mrs. emma
c. butil alumni founder to award the certificates.
Cres: So buhi pa bah ang tanan? Many of us were creating memories without
even realizing it. We were solely aware of our enjoyment. Only then can we
understand how priceless the moments are when they are locked and captured
within the four corners of a photograph. It’s really nice to reminisce the past,
because present won’t become as precious as this without the foundation of the
past. Speaking of past, may I ask you partner what was your fondest memory in
your elementary days?....
Jhun: (Answer)…. (Ask in return) how bout you partner, what was the most
memorable memories you had in elementary?
Cris: (answer) alright, Without further a do, lets look back on some of the precious
memories created inside the four-corner sides of our dear alma mater prepared
by the host batches 1999, 2006, and 2008.
JHUN: For the awarding of drawing contest, let us call in the presence of our GPTA
PRESIDENT AND CO CHAIRMAN OF SGC, MR. MAXIMO L. SUMAGAYSAY. A round
of applause please.
Cres: Congratulations to all the winners! We are now about to draw the second
minor prize! The privilege is given to…. to draw us the second winner. Please
madam/sir? And the winner of the second minor prize is:_... Congratulations!
PROCLAIMATION AND CORONATION OF THE INSTANT KING AND QUEEN
Jhun: alright, so it has become one of the traditions of the Bales alumni to conduct
a coronation every alumni celebration or commonly known as the Instant King
and Queen. What do you think is the essence of this activity partner?
Cris: Of course, the primary goal of the instant king and queen is to support
Baleguian Elementary School, our cherished institution. The money from this
Instant King and Queen will all go to our beloved alma mater, notably for the
endeavor to build washing facilities. More crucially, the upcoming academic
year may possibly be held face to face. Thus, the host batches of this year's alumni
celebration aim to be able to participate in this essential and relevant endeavor
of our beloved institution because they perceive it a highly beneficial to both
students and school staff especially that we're still at the wake of the pandemic
Jhun: Precisely cris, so at this juncture may we request every batch to send off
their best representative male and female here in the front for further instructions.
(Read the mechanics of the Instant King and Queen)
BEST ATTIRE (BATCH)
BEST ATTIRE OF THE NIGHT ( ALUMNA AND ALUMNOS)
RAFFLE DRAW FOR GRAND PRICE
GIVING OF DONATIONS TO THE SCHOOL FROM THE HOST BATCH
JHUN: . Surely, we now know who will be the next host for 2023 Grand Alumni
Homecoming. The responsibility to host the homecoming is indeed quite a
challenge. In behalf of the BALESAA we wish you good luck batch 1999,2006 AND
2008!
GIVING OF TOKEN TO THE FORMER TEACHERS OF BALES
CRES: REQUESTING ALL THE TEACHERS TO BE IN FRONT. At this point, we would be
remiss not to pay tribute to our former teachers, both those present and those
present in spirit, and the great contribution and impact they had upon our lives.
For most, if not all of us, our formative teen years were a time of growth,
adventure, excitement, and experimentation. But there were also times of
uncertainty, fear, sadness and pain. The best thing for being sad is to learn
something. Learning is the thing for you. In the larger scheme of things, it didn’t
matter so much that you, our teachers, taught us , mathematics, English, music,
and many more. What mattered most was that because of your mission and
dedication, you taught us the life long value of learning and the effects it can
have on our own, as well as others lives.
Jhun: And for that, we sincerely thank and honor you. And now, May we request
our Batch President to please come up the stage for the giving back to our dear
teachers, to be assisted by the Batch officers here present.
