OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND CRITERIA Project SEMICOLON: Online Performing Arts Festival Theme: “Breaking the Mental Health Stigma and Misinformation” 1. TIKTOK CONTEST OBJECTIVES NO. OF PARTICIPANTS COMPOSITION DURATION RULES AND GUIDELINES To showcase students’ talents and creativity in TikTok showing their knowledge about mental health Solo or group (3 participants only) It can be all boys, all girls, or a combination 2 minutes only (For every 10 seconds time exceeds automatic 5 points deduction) ● The competition is open to all Secondary and College students residing in any schools around Capiz only. Solo or group (3 participants only) and It can be all boys, all girls, or a combination. ● The participants must maximize the applications available in Tiktok. performer/s may present any form of talent (dancing, singing, interpretative, jingle, dance drama, contemporary, literary, musical, and other competitive, informative, and educational performances that talk about “Breaking Mental Health Stigma and Misinformation”. ● Performance must be 3 minutes only (For every 10 seconds time exceeds the automatic 5 points deduction). ● The theme of all performances must focus on the “Breaking Mental Health Stigma and Misinformation”. Any form of violence, unpleasant words, undesirable, irrelevant, and dangerous acts (use of fire), and political ads are NOT allowed. props, staging, or venue of ● Costumes, performance are allowed depending on the concept and needs of the presentation. Costumes must be appropriate and decent, and props must be safe to use and manageable. Recording of performances must be clear with quality sound. ● The video recording must be done within your district/place. Proper Health protocols must be observed from the start of preparation to the final performance/recording. ● Pre-recorded video will be submitted on or before July 12, 2022, at 12:00 noon in the official Google drive given. DIGITAL POSTER CONTEST OBJECTIVES NO. OF PARTICIPANT/S COMPOSITION DURATION OF THE PERFORMANCE RULES AND GUIDELINES To showcase students’ talents, skills & creativity through making Electronic posters for mental health awareness. 1 participant only Open in any secondary and college-level residing in any schools around Capiz. 2 hours only. ● ● ● ● ● ● The competition is open to all Secondary and College residing in any schools around Capiz only. Each participant can submit only one (1) entry. Entries must be in 1,200 x 630 pixels size (portrait or landscape). Participants may use any photo editing software like Photoshop, Paint, procreate, etc. Participants may download or use original pictures to be used in making the E-poster but the artist will be held accountable for any issues that may arise with regard to the originality & authenticity of the design. The E-Poster must illustrate, interpret, emphasize and expound on the theme “Breaking Mental Health Stigma and Misinformation. “ The Strength of Youth Action . The Power of Community.” Entries must be saved in PNG format. The format file name must be (STUDENT FAMILY NAME_GIVEN NAME_MIDDLE INITIAL EposterSemicolon). ● A one-paragraph explanation and description of the artwork (in any language) limited to 100-200 words must be attached. ● All entries must be submitted to a drive on or before July 12, 2022, at 12:00 noon in the official Google drive given. Minimum of 3 minutes and maximum of 5 minutes (For every 10 seconds time exceeds automatic 5 points deduction) ● The competition is open to all Secondary and College students residents in any schools around Capiz only. ● Each participant can submit only one (1) entry. “ The Strength of Youth Action . The Power of Community.” The spoken-word piece must be original and written in Hiligaynon or Tagalog only. The artist well is held accountable for any issue that may arise with regard to the originality and authenticity of the piece. ● The piece must interpret, emphasize and expound on the theme “Breaking Mental Health Stigma and Misinformation”. ● Entries must be recorded video of any type. Participants may use any video editing software and upload your entry on the Google drive given.
