Quantity 1 Add to cart Description Pharmacotherapeutic group: Corticosteroids for dermatological use. Corticosteroids in combination with antibiotics. Betamethasone and antibiotics. AT X code D07C C01. Composition: active ingredients: betamethasone, clotrimazole, gentamycin; 1 g of cream contains betamethasone (in the form of dipropionate) 0.5 mg, clotrimazole 10 mg and gentamicin (in the form of sulfate) 1 mg excipients: mineral oil, white soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, cetostearyl ether, benzyl alcohol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, purified water. Indications: Treatment of dermatoses sensitive to corticosteroids, in the presence (or suspicion) of bacterial and / or fungal infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug. Contraindications: T he drug is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to active substances or to any other component of the drug, other aminoglycoside antibiotics (crossallergic reactions to gentamicin) or imidazole derivatives (cross-allergic reactions to clotrimazole). And also with tuberculosis of the skin, skin manifestations of syphilis, skin reactions after vaccination, skin ulcers, acne, common plaque psoriasis, viral skin infections (for example, herpes simplex, shingles), varicose veins, perioral dermatitis, rosacea, chickenpox other bacterial and fungal infections of the skin without proper antibacterial and antifungal therapy. Triderm is not indicated for use with occlusive dressings. Triderm should not be applied to mucous membranes, eyes or the area around the eyes. Do not use the cream to treat nails or scalp infections. Method of administration and dosage: For adults, Triderm is applied in a thin layer on the entire affected surface and the adjacent area of intact skin 2 times a day, morning and evening. T he duration of treatment depends on the patient’s clinical response to treatment, as well as clinical and microbiological parameters. In the case of athlete’s foot, a longer course of treatment (2-4 weeks) may be required. Application f eatures: T he ointment is especially suitable for use on dry or rough skin. With the development of skin irritation or manifestations of hypersensitivity during treatment with Triderm cream, the use of the drug should be discontinued and the patient should be selected for adequate therapy. When applied topically, the systemic absorption of active ingredients may be higher when the drug is applied to large areas of the skin, especially with prolonged use or when applied to damaged skin areas. In this case, side reactions may occur that are observed after the systemic use of active substances. With the simultaneous systemic administration of aminoglycoside antibiotics, with increased absorption, the likelihood of a cumulative toxic effect (ototoxicity / nephrotoxicity) should be taken into account. In particular, cross-allergic reactions with other aminoglycoside antibiotics should be borne in mind. Long-term topical use of antibiotics can sometimes lead to the growth of resistant microflora. In this case, as well as in the development of superinfection, appropriate treatment should be prescribed. Use the drug in high doses, on large body surfaces or use strong or very strong corticosteroids only under regular medical supervision; especially with regard to the suppression of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) system and the possible metabolic effect. In the case of the development of oppression, the drug should be canceled or reduced the frequency of application or the patient should be transferred to GCS with a weak drug. T he function of the HGNZ system, as a rule, is restored after drug withdrawal. In some cases, withdrawal symptoms may develop, which require the addition of systemic corticosteroids. Avoid applying the drug to open wounds or damaged skin. Continuous treatment for more than 2-3 weeks is not recommended. Very strong, strong and moderate corticosteroids should be used with caution when applied to the face and genitals. In such cases, the course of treatment should not exceed 1 week. In general, only low-dose corticosteroids can be applied to the area around the eyes (due to the risk of glaucoma). Shelf lif e: 3 years. Storage conditions: Keep out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
