ENTRY REQUIREMNTS
Non-Science Based Programmes:
(a) Credit (Grade 6) or better in English Language
(b) Credit (Grade 6) or better in ANY FOUR subjects.
Science Based Programmes (School of Business, School of Social Sciences and School of
Education)
(a) Credit (Grade 6) or better in English Language and Mathematics
(b) Credit or better in minimum Two (2) from the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Science,
Biology (or Agricultural Science), Computer Science, Economics, Commerce, Additional
Mathematics, Geography, Wood Work, Metal Work, Geometric and Mechanical Drawing, Art and
Design. One Credit from any other subject.
Science Based Programmes (School of Agriculture and natural Resources and School of
medicine and Health Sciences)
(a)
Credit (6) or better in English Language and Mathematics

Credit or better in Biology or Agriculture Science and Science or Physics and Chemistry for
those who took pure sciences and a credit (6) or better in any other one (1) subject in the
Zambian School Certificate or General.
Method of Application
Application forms may be obtained in person from Academic Office at the Great North Road Campus,

non-refundable fee of (i) K150 (Zambian), (ii) USD50 (Non-Zambian) deposited in the University
Account No. 1067654300160 at any ZANACO branch countrywide. Application forms can also be
obtained from our Town Campus Offices and at our Main Campus, Great North Road in Kabwe OR
our Learning Centres namely: Choma (Adastra Basic School Provincial Resource Centre, Tel:0213220008), Lusaka (Mulungushi Conference Centre, Tel: 0211-295909) and Ndola (Provident House,
Tel: 0212-613738).
All completed application forms should be accompanied with certified copies of certificates or
statements of results; a bank deposit slip OR receipt from the Bursar’s office and should reach the
Academic Office by:
1. 30th June, 2022 for Distance Learning programmes
2. 30th July, 2022 for Full-Time programmes.
Those candidates holding admission letters from previous intakes but did not report for one reason or
